'B' System Blinds (Manual Lower Side Control)

The B system is the new patented manual magnetic blind system to be encapsulated within a glass sealed unit with 20-22mm airspace. This blind is available with 12.5mm slats and has a tilt-only function.

The external magnetic device is placed on the glass in the lower side of the blind. Motion is transmitted via two gears located in the top and bottom corner keys of the blind, which are connected to each other by means of a shaft which is completely concealed inside the space bar.

The system is particularly suitable for windowsill applications such as structural facades, schools and hospitals because the control device located at the bottom of the blind and so is readily accessible from a low level and within easy reach from a seated position.

The main benefits of this system are:

• External control device can be moved easily
• Quick assembly (with blind completely raised)
• Convenient transport (with blind completely raised)

The magnets have an unlimited life and are resistant to high temperatures ( 120°+).
