Aluminium Surface Mount Georgian Bar has been extremely popular with window installers.  In fact, it’s been so popular that we are currently looking to expand our range of colours and finishes that we offer in this bar. 

Pre-cut, the bar slots comfortably together on the surface of a window to complement an internal Georgian structure and give the appearance of the separate panes of glass in a traditional Georgian window.   It can be pre-cut to specific requirements or supplied uncut in 3 metre lengths.  Alternatively, we can supply a package including the machine to cut the bar and a regular supply of self adhesive bar so that you can produce complete Aluminium Georgian units on demand.   

We have developed Gas Lock Seals™ in response to the growing number of sealed unit manufacturers producing units filled with an inert gas such as Argon to increase the energy efficiency of the window.   

Gas Lock Seals™ provide additional protection against the escape of gas.  They are self adhesive strips which can be applied to staple holes or spacer tube corners and edges that may otherwise leave your sealed unit susceptible to gas leakage which, if left to leak out over time, will cause a unit to fail inside of its guarantee period.   

Exclusive Duplex Warm Edge Fittings are another recent introduction which is again the result of the increasing emphasis on improved thermal efficiency.   With the Window Energy Rating (WER) Scheme at the forefront of window developments, as well as being gas-filled, the highest performance double glazed sealed units are made with warm edge spacers that are used on the outer edge of the double glazed unit. 

With the knowledge that many warm edge systems do not have compatible warm-edge internal systems, we went about manufacturing our own duplex fittings which enable the highly acclaimed Thermix-TX.N warm edge bar to be used as an internal framework within a double glazed unit.   These fittings are available in a variety of sizes to complement either black or grey Thermix-TX.N bar.
