Our 2010 focus is Window Energy Ratings (WERs).

While we continue to work with our customers and window installers so that they can achieve their desired WER, we’re also working actively on behalf of the IG industry to tackle some of the issues that IG manufacturers have

In light of the proposed changes in building regulations for implementation in 2010, it’s inevitable that you must offer sealed units which comply with energy efficiency guidelines to help to achieve higher rated Window Energy Ratings (WERs). This doesn’t mean a change in production methods; and it certainly doesn’t have to mean committing to one particular sealed unit construction; it’ll just require some consideration of the facts and a look at what is most financially viable for your company as we all struggle to fight our way out of the recession...
