Warm Edge Spacer Bars and Accessories
Spacer bars which conduct less heat than a conventional metal spacer at the edge of the glass are referred to as 'Warm Edge'.
Sealed units with a warm edge are said to help reduce the following:
- energy loss through windows.
- heat loss through windows.
- Condensation on windows.
- Noise transferred from the outer pane to the inner pane of glass.

NEW Thermobar Warm Edge and Accessories
Thermobar is a new warm edge spacer tube from Thermoseal Group which has been engineered using thermoplastic tube and can be supplied with or without a gas diffusion barrier. Will be available in black (and eventually grey). Sizes: 4mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 14mm, 16mm, 18mm and 20mm. Some sizes available from August 2010.
Thermix-TX.N Spacer Bar and Accessories
A structurally-sound warm edge spacer tube made from high performance plastic tecatherm combined with integrated stainless steel gas diffusion barrier.
This spacer tube can be processed in sealed unit production using traditional sealed unit manufacturing equipment and methods. It is available in a range of widths. Standard height is 7mm and length is 5mtrs.

A warm edge alternative. Foam spacer is available in a range of sizes.
