Thermoseal Group Multiple Award Winners

For the second year in a row, Thermoseal Group is the winner of the coveted Glass and Glazing Industry’s G-Award for ‘Component Supplier of the Year’ as announced at the prestigious Gala Dinner held at the Hilton on Park Lane Hotel in London on Friday 18 November 2016.
This was a great day for Thermoseal Group who were also announced winners at two other awards events held that day resulting in an ‘EEF Future Manufacturing Award for Export’ for the North West Region and also a Wigan Business Award for ‘Exporter of the Year 2016’.
“We were delighted to receive these awards”, says Samantha Hill, Group Marketing Manager. “It was a great buzz for our team on Friday who saw group messages: ‘We’re a winner!’… ‘And again!’... ‘And we won AGAIN!’ The continued investment into our Innovation Centre, manufacturing facility, business infrastructure, staff training and development, and drive into the export market at Thermoseal Group is an amazing environment to be part of. We are a hard-working and dedicated team who all play our part in its continued success.
The Group’s Managing Director, Gwain Paterson added: “A big thank you to all of the staff at Thermoseal Group and thanks to our UK and International customers and industry contacts who continue to work with us to help develop exciting new products. We now manufacture over 50% of the components we supply and intend to continue to manufacture further products over the coming years.
“In 2015, there was a 95% increase in export business coming from our expanding network of customers – many of which are distributors in 22 countries within: Asia; Australia and Oceania; Europe; North America and South America. We will achieve 100% growth in export sales in 2016 and plan to significantly increase export sales in 2017. We also have a growing number of UK customers opting for our UK-manufactured spacers and in-house injection moulded accessories.”
Sam continues: “We are also a finalist for ‘Spacer Bar Manufacturer of the Year’ in the National Fenestration Awards, Amazon’s prestigious Growing Business Awards ‘Export Champion of the Year’ and another coveted award we’re not yet allowed to talk about so we look forward to the results. We have our fingers crossed for these awards and will of course sing from the rooftops if we are to win.
