Used in the construction of insulated glass sealed units, GD115 Polyisobutylene (PIB) is a proven primary sealant with a low water vapour transition rate. It has a good adhesion to glass and spacer systems.
Product Characteristics include: Very low water vapour transmission; Good bonding on glass and on all the usual spacer materials; Even and uniform sealant consistency; Good flow behaviour with all the usual butyl extruders; Useful aid in insulating glass unit assembly.
